Police Arrest Three in Mowe Over Alleged Possession of Human Skull

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects in Mowe over alleged conspiracy and unlawful possession of a human skull.

The arrest was confirmed in a statement issued on Friday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, who disclosed that the suspects were apprehended on January 8, 2026.

“The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects in Mowe for conspiracy and unlawful possession of a human skull on January 8, 2026,” Oluseyi stated.

According to him, the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Eleweran, Abeokuta, for detailed investigation.

A trader in the area where the suspects reside, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told this correspondent that the crime may have been committed outside the community before the suspects were traced to their place of residence.
