A Nigerian medical facility, Primecare Hospital, has strongly denied viral claims that popular content creator Mukoro Michelle, widely known as King Mitchy, died at its Abuja branch.

In a statement posted on Instagram on Saturday, the hospital described the reports as “false,” clarifying that King Mitchy was never admitted to its facility and did not pass away there.

The denial follows widespread speculation on social media alleging that the influencer had died amid an online feud with controversial activist VeryDarkMan.

Primecare Hospital’s management stated:

“The announcement regarding the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our Abuja facility is false. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here.”

The hospital further revealed that it is collaborating with authorities to trace the source of the misinformation and vowed to pursue legal action against those responsible.

“We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing.”

The controversy erupted after VeryDarkMan reacted online to unverified claims that King Mitchy allegedly consumed a substance identified as “Hypo.” Earlier reports from the influencer’s management had announced her passing — a claim now directly contradicted by Primecare Hospital’s official statement.

The conflicting accounts have intensified public confusion, with many calling for clarity amid the swirling rumours.
