The socio-political group announced on Monday, January 5, 2026, that Aladeitan’s appointment was ratified by the group’s highest decision-making organ over the weekend. The move signals the group’s formal commitment to providing objective, professional reviews of President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing administrative reforms.
According to the group’s manifesto, the PDA will focus on:
- Performance Reviews: Mobilizing non-partisan professionals to carry out objective audits of government performance.
- Youth Inclusion: Encouraging youth participation in governance through strategic education and community outreach.
- Peacebuilding: Creating national and community-level platforms for dialogue to strengthen national unity and accountability.
Professor Aladeitan brings a formidable legal and academic background to the role. A Senior Lecturer at the University of Abuja’sFaculty of Law, he is a member of several elite professional bodies, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
The PDA also announced a robust executive team to support the new National Coordinator, including:
- Deputy National Coordinators: Femi Osabinu, Ibrahim Ibrahim, and Igwe Umanta.
- National Secretary: Etsu Muhammed.
