The Super Eagles camp in Antalya has expanded to 21 players ahead of upcoming international friendlies, with six new arrivals joining the squad on Wednesday morning, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.

Early arrivals on Tuesday included Fisayo Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, and Philip Otele. Other players already in camp are Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Francis Uzoho, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, Adebayo Adeleye, Ademola Lookman, Akor Adams, and Chidera Ejuke.

The latest arrivals — Raphael Onyedika, Igoh Ogbu, Maduka Okoye, Samuel Chukwueze, and Zaidu Sanusi — bring the squad to 21 players.

The team is lodged at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel, with training scheduled for 4 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Nigerian time) on Wednesday. Coaches and officials had arrived earlier on Tuesday to kickstart preparations.

Super Eagles Media Officer Promise Efoghe expressed delight at the growing squad and the positive atmosphere in camp. “We are impressed with the players’ response and early arrivals. It reflects commitment and readiness for the task ahead. We expect a full camp soon, giving the coaches ample time to implement strategies,” he said.

Efoghe added that the technical crew is focused on maximising limited training sessions to build team cohesion. “Every session now is crucial for our preparations,” he emphasised.

Head Coach Eric Chelle had named Wilfred Ndidi, Iwobi, Lookman, and 20 others for the friendlies.

Originally scheduled in Amman, the matches were relocated to Antalya due to security concerns in the Middle East. Nigeria will face Iran national football team on Friday before taking on Jordan national football team on March 31.
