President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his birthday, commending his people-centred leadership, investments in human capital development and strong collaboration with the Federal Government to address security challenges in the state.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described AbdulRazaq as a āpolymath and highly accomplished professional,ā citing his extensive background in entrepreneurship and leadership within Nigeriaās oil and gas sector.
Tinubu noted that the governorās private-sector experience continues to reflect in his style of governance in Kwara, particularly in policy execution, development planning and service delivery.
The President praised AbdulRazaqās commitment to the safety of residents and lauded his cooperation with the Federal Government in confronting recent security and terrorist threats in the state.
He also applauded the governorās investment in education and human capital development, highlighting the KwaraLEARN programme, which he described as a transformative initiative that has strengthened basic education and improved teaching standards through targeted reforms.
Tinubu further acknowledged what he called visible and credible infrastructure development across Kwara State and urged the governor to sustain the momentum.
The President encouraged AbdulRazaq to continue delivering dividends of good governance to the people of Kwara, while wishing him good health, strength and wisdom in his continued service to the state and the nation.
AbdulRazaq, a two-term governor and a leading figure in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has recently played a key role in several state-federal engagements, particularly in the areas of security, education reform and development coordination.
