Nigerian gospel singer Abimbola Olayemi, popularly known as Oyinlomo Diamond, has publicly expressed deep concern over the prolonged silence of her colleague BBO following the sudden death of music minister Bayonile Bolaji, better known as Toluwanisings.

Toluwanisings passed away on October 14, 2026, after collapsing at his residence, just hours after performing at a music concert. His unexpected death sent shockwaves through the Nigerian gospel music community and social media.

Since the tragedy, BBO, widely regarded as a close friend of the late singer, has remained completely offline and out of public view. At Toluwanisings’ tribute night on Tuesday, BBO attended but covered his face to avoid recognition by the press and declined to speak.

Reacting to the situation in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Oyinlomo Diamond voiced her worries, stressing that grieving in silence can be more dangerous than speaking out. She noted that the gospel music industry cannot afford to lose another talent.

“I hope you know we can’t afford to lose you too. Dear BBO @officialbbo_ I hope you are fine? I understand this silence. I love how genuine you are even in death. I love how you didn’t chase clout with his death,” she wrote.

Oyinlomo Diamond encouraged BBO to take all the time he needs to reflect, sober up, stay offline, and rest. She cautioned against overthinking, warning that it could take a toll on his health, and reminded him that Toluwanisings’ immediate family needs him now more than ever.

Her heartfelt message has resonated with fans and colleagues who continue to hope for BBO’s well-being as the community mourns the loss of Toluwanisings.
