Nollywood actress and producer Uche Jombo has vowed to stand by the wife of late actor Alex Ekubo following his death.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jombo revealed that she joined close friends and colleagues in visiting Ekubo’s home, where they spent time with his wife reminiscing about the actor’s life and personality.
According to the actress, the gathering was filled with both tears and laughter, a reflection of the late actor’s vibrant and intentional nature. She expressed gratitude for the memories, lessons, conversations, and love they shared with him during his lifetime.
Jombo noted that although his passing has left many heartbroken, they found comfort in believing that he was finally free from pain and at peace.
She also reassured Ekubo’s wife that she would not be alone, stressing that friends and loved ones would continue to support her through the difficult period.
“As we sat around your wife today talking about you, through the tears came heavy laughter, and I looked around and said … this is so Alex! Thank you, brother, for the memories, lessons, conversations and love,” she wrote.
The actress added that she thanked God for Ekubo’s life and the peace he found in the end, while affirming that those close to him would continue to look after his wife.
