2023 Elections: Full List of Lagos House of Representatives Winners and their Parties

The All Progressive Congress (APC) won 20 of the 24 House of Representatives seats in Lagos while Labour Party (LP) clinched three and the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) won one in the recently concluded February 25, 2023 National Assembly elections.

Here is a full list of the winners and their political parties;

1. Hameed Adewale Waheed (APC) – Agege Federal Constituency

Dr Wale Ahmed is a medical practitioner born in Agege, Lagos, on 3rd May 1965.

Education

  • Anwar-Ul-Islam College, Agege – 1977 – 1982
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto – 1985 – 1991

Political career

  • Hon Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs – 2020 – Present
  • Hon Commissioner for Special Duties – 2011 – 2015
  • Member, Lagos State Publicity Committee of the ACN for General Elections – 2011
  • Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) – 1999
    While in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Dr Wale Ahmed was Chairman, House Committee on Health. He specifically sponsored the motion for free treatment of accident victims within the first 24 hours, which the Tinubu administration immediately adopted.

  • Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD), University of Lagos – 2000
