Governor Ademola Adeleke on Saturday hosted popular TikTok personality Peller at the Osun State Government House, as part of the influencer’s ongoing tour across 20 states in Nigeria.
Peller, who had earlier visited Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), was received by the governor in a relaxed atmosphere that featured conversations and photo sessions.
The highlight of the visit was a lively dance moment between the governor and his guest, set to a track by Afrobeats star Davido, who is Adeleke’s nephew.
The TikToker’s nationwide tour, which commenced on March 6, has already covered several locations including Oyo State, Ekiti State, and Abuja, drawing large crowds and social media attention.
However, the tour has not been without controversy. During a recent stop in Benin City, Peller faced criticism from the traditional council of the Oba of Benin, which accused him of breaching palace protocol and summoned him before a committee of chiefs.
Responding to the allegations, Peller insisted that his visit to Benin was duly authorised.
Despite the setback, his Osun visit adds to the growing visibility of digital creators engaging directly with political leaders and institutions across Nigeria.
