The political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections is beginning to take shape as the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
Faleke received the forms from the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, after the payment of N50 million, covering both the nomination and expression-of-interest requirements.
The move is widely seen as an early signal of Hamzat’s potential entry into the Lagos State governorship race under the ruling APC, as political alignments gradually begin to form ahead of the election cycle.
Faleke, a prominent figure within the party and founder of the Tinubu Support Group, has played a similar role in the past.
