BISHOP CHRIS KWAKPOVWE BURIES DAD IN STYLE

Last Friday, Ekrejebo, a popular town in Ughelli, Owerri, Delta State came alive, when the remains of the late Pa Stephen Kosoro Kwakpovwe, father of the publisher of Our Daily Manna  and General Overseer of Manna Prayer Mountain Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, were committed to mother earth.

The funeral was graced by several eminent personalities from across the country. The fleet of exotic cars in Ekrejebo that day spoke volume about the calibre of people in attendance. All the roads that led to the town had banners and posters engraved with the pictures of Pa Kwakpovwe, aka UGO.

Inside the venue, over 15 giant marquees had fans to each of them, and it was not a dull moment for guests who made their way to the event.

Among the VIPS who graced the event were Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan; First Lady of Delta State, Mrs. Sheila Uduaghan; commissioners and Senators from Ghana and South Africa, among others.

The deceased was survived by Bishop (Dr.) Chris Kwakpovwe, Barrister Efe. S. Kwakpovwe, Mrs. Helen Akpokomuaye, Andrew A. Kwakpovwe, Philomena Oziegbe, William Kwakpovwe, Avwerosuo Peter Kwakpovwe, Charles Kwakpovwe,  Ms. Monica Kwakpovwe, Yoyal Oghenerume Kwakpovwe and Prince Oghenebrume Kwakpovwe.
