President Buhari has appointed Mr. Ibrahim Kpotun Idris as the new Inspector-General of Police, PorscheClassy Media gathered.
The new acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. I.K Idris, is currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Idris, an Assistant Inspector-General of Police arrived the Presidential Villa in company with the outgoing IGP, Solomon Arase, at about 2.20pm.
However, the Presidency has yet to issue a formal statement on his appointment.
