Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced her long-awaited return to the stage, four years after being diagnosed with the rare neurological condition, Stiff Person Syndrome.

The 58-year-old made the announcement in an emotional video message titled “The Best Gift of My Life,” revealing plans for a limited 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena. The shows are scheduled to take place between September and October.

The announcement, which coincided with her birthday, marks a significant milestone in Dion’s recovery journey.

She had stepped away from performing in 2022 following her diagnosis, leading to the cancellation of her highly anticipated Courage World Tour.

Expressing gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support during her hiatus, Dion said she feels stronger and ready to reconnect with her audience.

“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” she said. “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good.”

Her return follows her emotional 2024 documentary and a stunning performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, both of which reassured fans that her iconic voice remains as powerful as ever despite her health challenges.
