The death has occured of Ibadan – based businessman philantropist and engineer, Chairman of formerly D’Rovans Hotel now Wallan Hotel, Chief Francis Ayegbeni.
Chief Francis Ayegbeni passed on early this morning according to a reliable family source. His daughter, Faith also confirmed to E24-7Magazine on Saturday evening that Chief Francis Ayegbeni breathed his last this morning in Ibadan. “He passed on this morning in Ibadan. My dad has gone to rest. May his soul rest in peace.”
Ayegbeni, who hails from Esan in Edo State remained a force in entertainment and hospitality with the versatile D’Rovans Band.
Amidst speculations that he had fallen on bad time, sold the hotel and effected the name change form D’Rovans to Wallan.
