Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that valuable assets of the state are being sold at give away prices by the outgoing Kayode Fayemi administration.
The party also alleged that the assets are being sold to chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and cronies of the governor.
However, in a swift reaction, the state commissioner for Information, Mr Tayo Ekundayo, described the allegation as untrue.
He charged the PDP to show proof.” I am not aware of such and if they are sure of their fact, they should wait till October 16 when they take over and revoke such properties”.
