It has been revealed that PDP’s House of Representative member, Murainah Saubana Ajibola is allegedly looting the government to enrich himself and his immediate family members.
Murainah who represents Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, though a seasoned lawyer, may have acted unwisely by neglecting youths in his constituency in terms of employment but engaged the services of his two daughters, Mira and Nnlanla as his personal assistants with huge salaries from government purse. It was gathered that Hon Murainah promised the youths in his constituency employment when he was seeking a return for the second term but immediately he clinched the ticket, he rarely meets or see any of the youths.
Adding salt to the youth’s sore, Murainah was said to have sacked two of his closest aides who worked for him during campaign and replaced them with his daughters.
Those in the known alleged that Murainah ,who is presently the Chairman, House Committee on Petroleum Resources (upstream) is desperately seeking for a third term but without the support of youths who claimed that they have not seen any development from him since his inception into the National Assembly. He was said to have bribed many of the delegates to give him their votes during the primaries with the plea to turn deaf ears to the ranting youths. However, the youth were said to have been meeting the delegates and pleading not to vote for Murainah.
