Nollywood actress and reality TV star, Venita Akpofure, has revealed that she continues to attract numerous suitors at the age of 39, with younger men making up most of those who approach her.
Akpofure made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, where she discussed her dating experiences and the attention she receives from men.
The actress attributed her appeal in the dating scene partly to her youthful appearance, saying people could easily believe she was 28 if she told them so.
According to her, younger men are more confident and courageous when it comes to approaching her, unlike older men who appear more hesitant.
“I am 39, but if I told you I was 28, you would believe me. I only get approached by younger men. They are more courageous than the older ones,” she said.
Akpofure further joked that the younger men compensate for what they may lack financially with confidence and boldness.
“What they don’t have in their bank accounts, they make up for with bravery and audacity,” she added.
The actress, who is divorced and has two children, was previously romantically linked to fellow reality star Adekunle Olopade.
Their relationship reportedly ended shortly after the conclusion of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show.
