She said Rotary’s mission extends beyond leadership transitions, stressing that the organisation is built on projects, fellowship, relationships and leadership that create lasting impact.

The Olona of Adaland, Oba Dr. Oyetunde Ojo, Ogunbodun I, offered royal blessings during the ceremony.

Rotary International President Olayinka Hakeem Babalola attended the event, which coincided with his birthday. He joined Governor Abidoye in cutting a birthday cake, adding a personal highlight to the occasion.

Other dignitaries included Etubom Dr. Sir Anthony Ani, former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha, Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi and guest speaker Babatunde Ogala.

In his inaugural address, Abidoye pledged to prioritise impactful service, announcing plans to deliver key humanitarian projects across the district.
