Nearly three years after the tragic passing of Nigerian singer Mohbad, his close associate Primeboy has made an emotional appeal for the late artiste to finally be laid to rest.

In a heartfelt video message circulating online, Primeboy revealed that Mohbad’s body has remained in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, as burial arrangements continue to stall.

“It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial,” he pleaded.

Mohbad’s untimely death sparked nationwide outrage, triggering protests, widespread public scrutiny, and multiple investigations. Authorities launched autopsy examinations and police inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding his passing.

However, prolonged forensic processes, legal proceedings, and reported disagreements within the family have significantly delayed plans for his burial.

The case remains one of the most talked-about incidents in Nigeria’s entertainment industry in recent years, with fans and supporters still demanding justice and closure.

As appeals intensify, many await a resolution that will allow the late singer to be honored with a final resting place befitting his legacy.
