Nigerian rap sensation Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he received an electric car, a house, land and a five-year United States visa following his victory in the Next Rated category at the 17th Headies Awards.

The 32-year-old rapper disclosed this in a video shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, where he proudly showcased the brand-new electric vehicle presented to him as part of the prize package.

“The Headies have given me a house and land. They gave me a five-year visa to America — America, where they have banned people from entering now — and they have given me this car; brand-new, electric,” the rapper said excitedly. He added jokingly, “What more can they give me? A Lifetime Achievement?”

Expressing gratitude, Odumodublvck described the moment as bigger than music, thanking God, his fans and listeners for their unwavering support. He also pledged to give back to the Headies Awards for believing in his craft.

The development comes months after the “Declan Rice” crooner publicly called out the Headies organisers over what he described as unfulfilled promises. In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), he humorously questioned the status of the car attached to his award, sparking widespread debate about the credibility of the awards ceremony.

In response, Headies founder Ayo Animashaun assured fans that the car would be delivered, noting that arrangements were being made for a “double car presentation” for multiple winners. The organisers also referenced their history of fulfilling prizes, including the solar-powered house previously awarded to Odumodublvck after his Rookie of the Year win.

While the rapper had earlier suggested that the awards body was out of touch with the growing street-pop and rap movement, his 2025 Headies triumph appears to have repaired strained relations, further reinforcing his reputation as an unstoppable force in the industry.

Odumodublvck began his music career around 2017 but rose to mainstream prominence in recent years. In 2022, he signed a record deal with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings. He is best known for hit tracks such as Picanto featuring Zlatan and Ecko Miles, Declan Rice, Blood on the Dance Floor featuring Bloody Civilian and Wale, and Cast with Shallipopi.

Following the release of his 2023 mixtape Eziokwu, the rapper dropped a 16-track project titled The Machine Is Coming in early 2025, before unveiling his debut album, Industry Machine, later that year.
