Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has announced that only 100 invited guests will be allowed to attend his upcoming white wedding with partner Jarvis, following reports of phone thefts during their traditional wedding ceremony.
The couple celebrated their traditional wedding on Saturday, August 1, in an event that attracted celebrities, influencers, fans, and widespread attention across social media platforms.
However, shortly after the ceremony, Peller revealed that several guests contacted him to report that their mobile phones had been stolen outside the venue.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the streamer expressed concern over the incidents, saying he had received numerous calls from affected guests.
To avoid a repeat of the security breach, Peller announced that the couple’s white wedding, scheduled for August 8, will be strictly by invitation.
He stated that only 100 guests would be admitted and urged anyone without an invitation not to attend the ceremony.
Peller also warned touts, popularly known as agberos, to stay away from the venue, alleging that many phones were stolen during the traditional wedding.
According to him, security personnel will be on ground to remove anyone found loitering around the event.
Peller and Jarvis have remained one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media couples, with their viral TikTok live sessions earning them a massive following. The venue for the white wedding has not yet been disclosed.
