During a media parley in Akure on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, State Commandant Mr. Oluyemi Ibiloye disclosed that the command handled 2,550 cases between January and December 2025. This represents a decline from the 2,900 cases recorded in 2024, a success Ibiloye attributed to heightened public awareness and inter-agency collaboration.

- Counter-Terrorism & Cybercrime: 410 cases including online fraud, cultism, and threats to life, resulting in 164 arrests.
- Investigations: 498 cases handled with 551 suspects apprehended; 31 cases remain active in court.
- Gender & Trafficking: 101 cases managed by the Anti-Human Trafficking and Gender Unit.

A major highlight of the year was the success of the command’s Grievance Management Centres. Expanded from 25 to 45 locations across Ondo State, these centers resolved 345 cases through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), significantly reducing the burden on the formal court system.

- Safe School Initiative: The command’s all-female arms-bearing squad has conducted vulnerability assessments on all 1,601 schools in the state to prevent abductions and ensure a secure learning environment.
