Popular TikTok content creator, Peller, has issued a public apology to Oginika, the woman he confronted during a recent altercation at a restaurant, admitting that his reaction was wrong but blaming the incident on the emotional toll of sustained online attacks.

The confrontation reportedly began after Oginika cautioned Peller over what she perceived as excessive noise at the eatery. In response, the influencer criticised her, an action that quickly sparked backlash across social media, with many users describing his behaviour as inappropriate and excessive.

Speaking during a livestream to address the controversy, Peller revealed that the constant wave of online criticism and hate he receives had left him emotionally overwhelmed, contributing to his reaction in the real-life encounter.

Although he apologised for his conduct, the content creator also suggested that Oginika’s approach was disrespectful, urging people to be mindful of how they address others in public spaces.

“That girl I met at the food place that we exchanged words, I’m sorry. But I’m traumatized,” Peller said.
“The hate I get online is a lot, and when someone says something negative in real life, it affects me. Oginika, I’m sorry. But you too, no dey talk to people like that, e no fair.”
