Actor Mofe Duncan has announced the passing of his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan, who died on March 10, 2026.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Duncan paid tribute to his father, affectionately calling him his “Champion” and “sweet old pops.”
Sharing his grief, Duncan wrote, “And then my Daddy slept. My sweet old pops has gone to be with the Lord. My Champion has transcended. THANK YOU, DADDY… TRULY. I will celebrate you. My heart is broken, but my heart smiles because now I have another angel watching over me, and that angel was once my Daddy.”
Despite the sadness, the actor expressed comfort in the belief that his father now watches over him as an angel, leaving behind a legacy of love and guidance that continues to inspire him.
