Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has openly declared that she values wealth far more than fame.
In a recent interview, the reality TV star revealed she would gladly give up her celebrity status if offered $2 billion, stressing that fame without financial security holds little meaning for her.
According to her, she would be willing to delete her social media accounts and step away from public life if it meant achieving financial freedom. She explained that she only enjoys the spotlight occasionally and would prefer a quieter lifestyle if she were financially stable.
Mercy emphasized that with such wealth, she would secure a private island home and ensure comfort for herself and her family. She further stated that celebrity influence is not as important to her as having long-term financial security.
“I only enjoy being famous occasionally. I would trade my fame for 2 billion dollars. Wetin dem dey carry fame do? Give me money and delete me from every social media platform. I would give up my influence, everything for money,” she said.
