Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has dismissed viral rumours suggesting that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, recently welcomed their first child.
The speculation erupted after a social media influencer, Kolaqhazim, shared what appeared to be an AI-generated image of Temi Otedola holding a newborn on X, claiming the couple had welcomed a baby girl after eight years together.
The post quickly gained traction, drawing widespread attention and a flood of congratulatory messages from fans who believed the announcement to be genuine.
However, Mr Eazi swiftly shut down the claim with a humorous response, questioning the authenticity of the post.
“Is Temi aware of this?” the singer wrote, effectively debunking the rumour.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, tied the knot in lavish wedding ceremonies held across Monaco, Dubai and Iceland in 2023.
As of the time of reporting, neither Mr Eazi nor Temi Otedola has made any official announcement regarding pregnancy or childbirth.
The incident has reignited conversations online about misinformation, AI-generated content and the speed at which unverified claims spread on social media.
