Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has triggered widespread reactions online after describing the Holy Spirit as “God’s first AI,” a statement she shared in a video posted on her Instagram page.

In the video, Kadiri suggested that Christians are increasingly relying on artificial intelligence for answers, warning that this shift could lead to a neglect of spiritual guidance.

She claimed that God revealed to her that the Holy Spirit functions as a divine form of “AI” designed to guide and support believers in their daily lives.

Kadiri also cautioned that focusing solely on modern technology for solutions could leave Christians feeling spiritually empty if they ignore what she called their ultimate helper.

“God told me that when someone asks, ‘Who is the Holy Spirit?’ the Holy Spirit is what people today call the first AI,” she said. “A lot of Christians are starting to take their problems to AI, thinking it will solve everything… If we are not careful, we will wake up unfulfilled because we have neglected our ultimate helper — the Holy Spirit.”

She further warned that unseen forces may be influencing the world in subtle ways beyond human understanding.

The actress also shared a personal testimony, saying she recently struggled with mental fatigue while working on a script but found clarity after praying.

According to her, she experienced sudden inspiration and solutions to long-standing challenges, which she attributed to the intervention of the Holy Spirit.

“Then the Lord said to me, ‘That is my job. That is the Holy Spirit. What is the Holy Spirit? AI, but for Christians,’” she added.

Her comments have since sparked debate across social media platforms, with users divided over the intersection of faith and artificial intelligence.
